Research and Development

The SEA CON^® Group runs a continuous Research & Development department to investigate and assess new processes, procedures, materials and technology for the advancement of our products and to keep pace with an ever advancing market/industry.

As fiber optics become increasingly more widespread in the connector and subsea industries the Group has dedicated fiber optic departments for the termination, testing and development of these products. Using the latest technology available including polishing machines, microscopes, return meters, interferometers and OTDR's (Optic Time Domain Reflectometers), customers can be assured that their products are manufactured to the highest of standards.
